So I am going to start posting some shorter tutorials like this on some tips and tricks which I have learnt over the years and have been very useful! When I first started using Illustrator, trying to add a smooth gradient across a full piece of type seemed impossible and it was infuriating after transitioning from Photoshop where it was so easy to do. I can imagine I am not the only one who had this problem, and it was certainly a deterrent for me. Trying to learn how to use a new program is definitely a difficult thing to do, but by learning just some of the most basic tricks will allow you to create almost anything you want. I actually only use a small selection of tools within Illustrator to create everything, so it is just a matter of learning how to use them and what they are capable of! If you have seen me do things in other videos and would like to know how I did it, just drop a comment below! I will be looking for ideas for other tutorials like this one!
